For Christmas Whitney and Bruce were originally planning to go to their mutually favorite island of Puerto Rico. However, with Bruce’s job, it unfortunately didn’t work out. So instead Bruce suggested for them to go back to Egmont Key to get Whitney’s beach fix in.
On Christmas Eve, Whitney and Bruce take the ferry out to Egmont Key. They arrive on the island and it’s a gorgeous day! It’s warm, the sun is shining and Whitney is loving the fact that she can tan in December. About 2 hours in, Bruce says, “I’m going to give you your Christmas gift early. Stand up and close your eyes. I have to put it together.” While he’s saying this he’s pulling out a set of pliers like he’s really going to put something together. So Whitney stands up and turns her back to him. Bruce said, “No baby you’re not following directions. Turn back around and close your eyes.” So Whitney did as she was told and when she opened her eyes Bruce was down on one knee and said, “Let’s finish the forever conversation.
